Dottir advised Rentle Oy in their EUR 3.8 million seed funding round. The investors in the round comprised Tera Ventures, Anthemis, Maki.vc, Mission One Capital, The Fund as well as a number of European and US family offices and angel investors.

Rentle is a commerce platform for the circular economy providing merchants with software that makes it easy and profitable to take part in the circular economy. Rentle plans to use the funding to invest in product development to meet the rapidly growing demand from existing and new merchants.

Dottir advised Warner Music Finland in its acquisition of the record label business of The Fried Music, the iconic Finnish label founded by Jukka Immonen. Following the acquisition, The Fried Music's artists will join Warner Music's roster and Jukka Immonen will be appointed as Warner's new Head of A&R, effective January 1, 2024.

Warner Music Finland is the largest music entertainment company in Finland and operates across recorded music, music publishing, and artist services.

Dottir advised Integrata in securing an investment by Mandatum Asset Management Growth Equity II fund. The investment will support Integrata’s international expansion and the development of its smart HR and payroll service technology solutions.

Dottir advised cleantech company SpinDrive in their EUR 3.8 million Series A funding round. The round was led by U.S.-based Rhapsody Venture Partners and participated by existing investors Innovestor from Finland and Born2Grow from Germany.

Finnish SpinDrive provides affordable active magnetic bearings for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). SpinDrive's frictionless bearings are smaller, more energy efficient, and more affordable than its competitors. Furthermore, the bearings require no oil to work, eliminating the need for polluting lubricants from industrial production.

The funding will enable SpinDrive to ramp up its commercial growth and improve industrial efficiency in factories worldwide.

Dottir advised a consortium led by CapMan Growth in their investment in Tana Oy, a Finnish environmental technology company. CapMan made the investment together with Normet Group’s main owner Aaro Cantell and Elo Mutual Pension Insurance Company.

Tana specializes in manufacturing machines and equipment for the mechanical processing of solid waste. The company is a pioneer of using electrical control systems and artificial intelligence solutions in its equipment and has grown in recent years to a global market leader in waste pre-treatment equipment. With this investment, Tana aims for even greater growth.
